Flossie and the Fox is the solo project of Rachael Haft, a blues vocalist and picker who belts out angsty bluesy poetry on a Sheraton hollow body and sometimes her father's old Sigma. Driven by compulsively honest lyrics and an emotional yet gritty voice, her songs are about identity. Her debut album, A Fox Just Be a Fox, is a collection of odes to individualism and childhood.
